After winning both the Houston and Denver West Men’s 7s Qualifiers, the Denver Barbarians earned top seed from the West heading into the USA Rugby National Club 7s in San Francisco, CA August 11-12, 2012.
Heading into the final event last weekend in Denver, there were 4 teams positioned to win the two available West slots to the National Club 7s. These same four teams that had dominated the Qualifiers in the first two events, did so again in Denver. The Denver Barbarians defeated the KC Blues in the finals to determine the top seeds, and to earn trips to nationals. The Glendale Raptors defeated the Woodlands Exiles to secure 3rd place.
